OSHA work context

Review this before screening. The selection controls which source-backed OSHA standards can be shown.

Both 29 CFR Parts 1910 and 1926 may be used only when the visible condition and work context support the selected standard.

01. Do you maintain a written safety program?

A current program should cover the work your crews perform.

02. Is employee safety training documented?

Confirm training records are current and job-specific.

03. Do crews complete a pre-task hazard analysis?

Use a Job Hazard Analysis before each shift or task change.

04. Are fall-protection controls verified before exposure?

Include equipment, anchorage, access, and rescue planning.

05. Is the emergency and incident response plan available?

Employees should know how to report an incident and summon help.

06. Can employees access current Safety Data Sheets?

SDS access must be available without delay at the point of use.
